About Us
Who We Are
The Computing Education Alliance is a Rhode Island based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gap in computing education across the workforce, K-12 schools, and communities. We believe that understanding computing is no longer optional. It is a foundational skill for the modern workforce and an informed citizenry.
We develop open learning materials, hands-on curriculum, and professional development resources that make computing education accessible and actionable. From artificial intelligence to digital citizenship, our programs equip learners with the skills that matter.
Whether we are supporting a classroom teacher preparing their first computer science lesson or partnering with an employer to offer workforce training, we meet learners where they are and help them get where they need to go.
Vision
A future where every community member has the knowledge and skills to thrive in a highly technical world.
